To celebrate the eighth Mall Animation by L’Oréal Paris, the brand conducted an exclusive press and guest meet at Dolmen Mall on the 12th of June 2013. The evening began with a welcome note by the host, Beauty Advisory Program Manager – L’Oréal Paris, Aale Mowjee who introduced Revitalift TR10 BB Cream, perfectly suited to the needs of today’s women who do 10 things at once, Revitalift TR10 BB Cream provides instant skin perfection with long lasting anti-wrinkle action.
General Manager (Consumer Products’ Division) at L’Oréal Pakistan, Moazzam Ali Khan on stage who talked about L’Oréal as a brand in Pakistan. He said, “L’Oréal Paris has for over five years now delighted skin and beauty conscious Pakistani women through its unique Mall Animations. For us, this consumer driven activity is a tremendous learning experience, as we gain first hand feedback from our loyal customers who help us create even better products that are directly aligned to their needs.”
This was followed by a video screening featuring fashion designers Ayesha F. Hashwani, Nida Azwer, Sanam Chaudhry and Jewellery Designer Kiran Aman who all shared the 10 things they do on a daily basis focusing on TR10 BB Cream. Aale then introduced on stage the L’Oréal Paris Expert panelists who all shared their views on skin care and the benefits of the TR10 BB Cream.
This was further followed by an introduction to L’Oréal Paris make-up and Spring/Summer 2013 make-up looks by Product Manager at L’Oréal Paris, Nubain Ali followed by a unique make-up and fashion presentation artistically translated by make-up expert Saba Ansari of Sabs featuring 4 leading fashion designers; LE SMOKY by Deepak Perwani, LE SHOCKING by Sadaf Malattere, LE GLAMOUR by Sana Safinaz and LE SENSUAL by Shehla Chatoor, all of whom created exclusive capsule collections inspired by each make-up trend to complete the “look”. The finale of the show featured L’Oréal Paris Spokesperson Mehreen Syed in LE GLAMOUR by Sana Safinaz.
The event was managed by the team at Bulls Eye with talent management and choreography by Catwalk and Public Relations by Lotus. What a brilliant idea!

After successfully launching her first ever standalone flagship store in Lahore, Nida Azwer launched her first retail store “Nida Azwer Atelier” in Karachi yesterday, marking her second store nationwide. The store is located at the newly constructed Ocean Tower situated near Do Talwar in Clifton. We are so proud of all our talented, enterprising and young designers like Nida!
Speaking about the opening of the Karachi store, Nida Azwer said, “This is our second shop launch within a month and we are extremely excited to have a retail store for our clients in Karachi. We have received a tremendous response from Karachi consumers who have long requested us to open an outlet in the metropolitan city. We are very excited about making the brand more accessible to a wider diversity of people. ”
“Nida Azwer Atelier” was inaugurated by Shahnaz Ismail, Dean of Design at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. The store features the label’s coveted prét line ‘The White Label’, a trendy and chic prêt a porter collection designed keeping in mind the contemporary woman who shops for clothes that are wearable, price accessible and in line with modern trends. Based in bright hues with the label’s signature modern silhouette, Nida Azwer has designed the collection to make “The White Label” an integral part of every woman’s wardrobe, with each piece staying true to her definitive attention to detail, cuts, play of colours and textures. The label is based in pure cotton, silk, linen, chiffon and cotton/silk net fabrics. It also includes pieces accentuated with the signature Nida Azwer screen printing and digital printing. The label’s Ready-to-wear formals will also be available at the new store, with Nida Azwer introducing her Kids Line in coming months.
