Feeha Jamshed’s friends threw a fantastic party on Saturday to kick off Feeha and Nadir’s wedding festivities.
The innovative #denimlovers campaign, conceived by Selfridges’ Creative Director, Alannah Weston, and directed by fashion photographer Tom Craig, marked the opening of the world’s largest Denim Studio at Selfridges London.
From denim-obsessed Disney Roller Girl to blogger Susie Bubble, 200 of fashion’s top influencers arrived, denim-clad, at the Old Selfridges Hotel. Hot dogs, blue slush puppies and a Ciaté denim manicure bar kept the crowd entertained while the stage was set.
The music and anticipation ramped up as our denim power players took their positions around the central stage. Famed photographer Tom Craig introduced the campaign’s stars, British supermodel, Jourdan Dunn and rising star, 17 year-old Rosie Tapner. The girls took their place centre stage, looking every bit the denim icons in J Brand and Levi’s.
It’s safe to say denim is back and here to stay!
With the 90′s back in vogue, denim is no longer seen as a casual wardrobe stable, but instead it has now become a statement in high fashion and can even be worn on the red carpet (especially denim on denim like trendsetters Feeha Jamshed and Amar Faiz).
